Catie has been a crackup tonight. I was about to leave to pick Jaden up from football and Catie asked if she could go with, so I said sure. I was going upstairs to get Allison some socks and Catie thought I left and called out my name in a panicked tone: "Mom!" I said "what?" She's like, oh, I thought you left. So she went back downstairs to wait for me and play. I got sidetracked and checked my email. About five minutes later she says:
Catie: "Mom!"
me: I left
Catie: What?
me: I left
she comes upstairs to where I'm at and says again: What?
me: I left
Catie: (While looking at me funny - almost contemplating) No you didn't.
me: Yes, I did.
Catie: Cuz your van's still here.

Kids are smart, grand pops are not soo smart, I spelled her name wrong on my last comment, and Jewels let me know about it the last time I did it, sorry, I'm a jerk. Catie knows her stuff mom, you will have to hide your van the next time. Love Daddy.
