Julie says this about my dad in the picture: "dad sorta looks like......a used car salesman, like he drives an El Camino but calls it a "truck." It was followed by 30 something comments between my dad, sister and I and I wanted to post some baaaad pictures of me on her blog but I can't, so I'm now continuing it on my blog.
The first picture is of me on the Purple People Eaters soccer team and the second one is my freshman picture in high school. Can you say Anthony Michael Hall???

And this is another oldy but goodie of my mom and dad.

Dad looks like he's in Depeche Mode, and mom has grandma's hair.
And, you look adorable on the purple people eaters. This isn't supposed to be a bad picture contest (I would win that one, let's not go there, please). Dad and mom are cute - that's the point.
are those Christmas gifts? Did someone get that phone as a present? haha
I was hip, how many times do I need to remind you? Depesche Mode, or however you spell their name, copied me because I was hip, any other questions? Love Daddy
Damn, I thought I was going to bed.
I don't know how Jewels could have gotten an inferiority complex, I always lied to her, and her older sister. Love Daddy
Aw, dad you say the sweetest things. xoxo
Whose house is that at, dad? I'm liking the Christmas tree decorations. How old were you guys here? Julie, crop this one for the "many hairstyles of mom" post.
Dad, come on, dig out some goodies from your house and post them on your blog!! You've got some good ones!
Thats cause I love you, Julie Rose. Where'd your crazy sister go? Love Daddy
I went to edit this post to include the original picture.
You know what is so funny about this picture? Mom is dressed up, and she made dad dress up! hahahahah, she has been doing that since the beginning of time, and she suckered you into it!
let's go to Christmas this year in jeans, wife beaters, and bare feet! Let's protest!
O.K. I will post some old photo's of our disfunctional family, the first chance I get, tomorrow I will be welding our electric gate for the back house driveway, it scrapes the driveway when opening and closing after a small weld broke about two years ago. I always wanted to be a procrastinator, just never got around to it. Love Daddy
Shorts. Heck, you guys are always tellin me how it's nice to mow the lawn on Christmas morning cuz the temps are in the 80s, as if that's a brag... mowing the lawn on Christmas??
Hey I hit "Show original post" and then photo and there is that photo from Jewels blog. Love Daddy
Dad's blog is fortmyra.blogspot.com in case you're following along with the story.
All's you gotta do is click on the blue words at the top "The Thomas family" and it brings you back to the original posts.
We used to go swimming on Christmas, and New Years, cutting the grass also, in Fox Lake some years you don't see grass for months. But it's a dry heat. Love Daddy.
I think we lost Jewels, hope she didn't pass out at the puter. Love Daddy
We can go swimming here, too. It's just called the Polar Bear Club. It can be done!! Oh, and there's no such thing as dry heat out here!
i'm here, just working on lesson plans at the same time. Obviously, my fancy camera won't pay for itself.
My blog is FortMyra? How did that happen? I thought I named it prisonMyra? Just don't know what I was thinkin at the time. Love Daddy
PrisonMyra musta been taken
going to bed for real this time.
We are trying to pass a new law, all airplanes coming into southern Cal from Chicago must roll down the widows over Arizona so we don't get any of that humid air that the passengers bring on board the plane at O'Hara or Midway, just sayin. Love Daddy
Goodnight again girls. Love Daddy
Same holds true the other direction for the smog. Just sayin..
good night. It's after 11 here. I got kids. Gotta go to bed.
Bob Hope said it best, he didn't trust air he couldn't see!!! What's smog??? Love Daddy
soooo... are you gonna post a continuation onto your blog??
Do you mean like old photos? They're up brat. Now what?
Jenny, I think the last oldie but goodie photo you put up is your parents before they were married, at My moms house, Christmas 67 or 68 probably 68, that's our Dalmation Dobie in the left lower portion of the photo. Notice how happy I was?
Yeah, I did notice the doggy. You both look quite miserable actually. Something you ate?
